Our deodorants are made in Melbourne, Australia from 100% natural, plant and mineral derived ingredients and essential oils. All deodorants are aluminium and synthetic fragrance free. You can find a detailed ingredients list on each product page under the 'ingredients' tab.
Natural deodorants are not meant to stop you from sweating! Instead of blocking sweat glands with aluminium, natural deodorants use plant and mineral derived ingredients to eliminate odour and help absorb excess moisture.
If you are new to natural deodorants, you might experience excessive sweating and odour after ditching your antiperspirant. The good news is this does subside within a few weeks!
During that time avoid constantly wiping your underarms dry or you'll risk wiping off your deodorant. If required, gently pat dry or use body powder to absorb excess moisture.
Deodorant paste is the most effective and eco-friendly form of deodorant. Plus your product will last much longer as you get better application when using your fingers to spread and rub your deodorant in properly.
We tried formulating deodorant sticks, however, we found them to be less effective compared to pastes. That's because for the deodorant stick to hold its shape, you are required to add extra waxes and solid butters to the formula. Unfortunately those waxes and butters don't add any deodorising value and end up diluting formulation effectiveness.
We are currently working on new innovative packaging that will allow for a hands-free application, so watch this space! In the meantime, you can use a bamboo spatula if you really don't like the idea of using your fingers.
One full size 70g tin should last about 3-6 months of everyday use, with some customers reporting their deodorant lasting even longer. A little goes a long way when it comes to our deodorant paste because it's super effective!
We recommend applying about a pea size between both underarms for females and about a pea size per underarm for males. Usage varies between individuals, depending on their size, odour profile and activity levels.
Yes, you can! Our Extra Strength range is great for deodorising feet, while our Sensitive Unscented Baking Soda Free Natural Deodorant can act as an anti-chafing cream for all other parts of your body.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult a doctor before using any products containing essential oils. In the meantime opt for our Unscented Natural Deodorant or Sensetive Unscented Baking Soda Free Natural Deodorant.
